I had a horrible experience and would not recommend Dr Dasarathy Srinivas! I have a life threatening illness and was able to get an appointment with him very quickly. However, after extensive blood work and tests, he failed to follow up with me. After my first round of tests, all he needed to do was call the pharmaceutical company to get approval for my prescription. He promised to do this immediately so I could begin treatment. When I didn't hear back from him within a few weeks, I called several times to follow up. Each time I was told he was "out on an emergency"... he never returned my messages AFTER 5 MONTHS of calling. I finally made an in person visit to the office only to find out his office had moved. I then drove to the new location only to be told he was "out of the office and that I should make an appointment" to speak with him. By this time, it had been 6 months since my initial visit. One of the receptionists in the lobby actually told me this type of neglect is very common in his office and she said I should seek medical treatment with someone else. I was extremely upset and made it known that I was unhappy and would find a new doctor. Once he found out I was seeking treatment from someone else, he called back that day and told me that I would have a hard time finding someone else to treat me. He also seemed very confused about my patient profile and didn't remember anything about me-- he literally didn't remember why I came to see him in the first place and asked that I schedule ANOTHER appointment to go over my profile! All he was supposed to do was write a prescription to Harvoni so I could start treatment!! Since then, I've had a very hard time finding a doctor that will take Dr. Srinivas's patients. He apparently has a bad reputation in the field and MANY of his patients have had the same experience as me. Please take warning and do not go to this doctor!!! I finally found a new doctor to see me and it's been an entire year of searching and hoping for help.
