Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pineville-Alexandria Area

Nice place and clean. However; the maid service was very lacking. 1st day we returned to our room just after 3pm and our room door is open with maid standing there asking if we need service. Tired from our day my husband signs off on her sheet we declined service. Day 2...same thing and my husband notices how many signatures she's received (many). Frustrated by this whole situation of throwing our own trash out and replenishing our own towels etc....day 3 we decide we do not even want this individual in our room as we've already received the impression that if this employee is getting out of cleaning...hence stealing already in our eyes from the company...their time/money for signatures ... What's to stop them from continuing that behavior? what a perfect way to get out of cleaning rooms... Wait around till the guests show up and they won't wanna wait and sign off! Did notify the front desk which made a notation to inform manager. However they obviously do not take this as serious as we see it...why I feel it's necessary to leave the review as such. Other than that it's a nice place and clean initially but how far will that take ya... If we return next year... probably will stay at the country inn across the street.
