Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

When I went to get my haircut, it had been a while since I had a haircut (like almost a year). I had a cap on and the lady asked me how I wanted it cut and I told her that I wanted a High and Tight, she said that'll be no problem. I then took off my cap and her eyes got pretty big, I guess she wasn't expecting that I had so much hair under the cap and that I was getting a High and Tight. I have to admit that she did an excellent job, she was very chatty but I think that they teach them that in school. She probably thought I was a jerk because I have social anxiety and I wasn't exactly very talkative. She did make the joke that nobody is going to recognize me since I lost about 3 lbs of hair. It was only $15 for the haircut, which is about the going rate for a haircut in this area. I would definitely go back there and get another haircut, hopefully I will be able to make her feel like I'm not ignoring her and I would continue the conversation with her. My anxiety makes it very hard to have a conversation with someone I don't know, sometimes it's hard to even talk or hang out with friends and family. But the day I went and got my hair cut they didn't have anyone else in there so as soon as I walked in it was straight to the chair and she was cutting my hair, she even trimmed up my mustache and goatee, I'm not sure if it's something that they always do it but I know that most places won't do a facial hair trim or even if they do they'll charge a few extra dollars. I will be back at Fantastic Sam's in Hammond the next time I need to get a haircut. These women do a very good job and they are very friendly.
